Atlas News Both WONDERWORLD and MIDNITE MADNESS have been cancelled. No issues of either will appear. However, a new title, FRIGHT, has been introduced. It will feature a vampire lead character. TALES OF EVIL is being changed from a mystery title to a book featuring two strips: "Man-Monster" -- to be written by Tony Isabella, and "Bog Beast" by John Albano and Jack Sparling. Dan Adkins will be drawing THE COUGAR. Atlas has announced that all the stories in their black and white books will be scripted by staff writers who include John Albano, George Kashdan, Ed Fedory, Allan Monitz, Jeff Rovin and Steve Mitchell. No free lance stories are being accepted. Mike Sekowsky will remain the regular artist on the Sam Lomax, N.Y.P.D. strip in POLICE ACTION. Al McWilliams will remain the regular artist on Sgt. Stryker's Death Squad in SAVAGE COMBAT TALES. Archie Goodwin and Alex Toth are doing a war story for SAVAGE COMBAT. Both Walt Simonson and Howard Nostrand are doing segments of the Monster X series in WEIRD TALES OF THE MACABRE.
